A great match from the E's despite the comical weather conditions (thunder, hail and rain).

The first quarter started off a little shaky, with the team taking a little time to settle into the game. We emerged from the first quarter with a score of just 5-5. By the second quarter, we seemed to have settled into the game and started to work well as a team with some great interceptions and turnovers from Fiona, Fern and Harriet we came out with a scored12-11.

After a half-time team talk, our fabulous defensive team continued to pressure well, with some fantastic interceptions from Harriet (well-deserved POM) we only let ACE score 2. This was teamed up with some great shooting from Nat and Hannah, we have built a more convincing lead of 19-13.

The last quarter was the hardest, as we were playing in what can only be described as “biblical storm” and added to the comedy was the non-started timer. But we didn’t let that put our heads down, with our shooters continuing to do a great job in the circle we have ended up with a win of 23-15.
