D/Es storm Selsdon in a MET friendly!

This week was a friendly outing for the Ds joined by a couple of the E team against Selsdon.
So with a score of 70 -4 you'd think there wouldn't be a lot to comment on. The girls were never troubled with excellent play through the centre court, very relaxed defence and fantastic shooting.

However, there are some areas to work on including;

1. Not only working down one channel and spreading the play
2. Continuing to come forward for the ball
3. Knowing how to safely unscrew earrings
4. Improved half time snack preparation
5. Knowledge of match venues
In all seriousness though a great game where standards weren't dropped and good play by all. No quarter was weaker than another, which is good for us considering our second half is usually where we loose concentration. For a team that had never played together the transition was seamless. Hannah, Sarah and Tash had great matches (thank you for playing) with a well deserved POM for Hannah who literally didn't miss a shot all game.
