WNC 'E' -v- Redhill D - 42-10

A slightly rocky start for E's match against Redhill with only half an hour till the game started we were two players down, one to sickness and one stuck in traffic. After the fabulous Dani K stepped in to help us make a full team we started the game well considering most of our team were out of position and we didn't have any shooters.

The first quarter ended in a draw but allowed our shooters to find their pace which with the support from the rest of them team saw us take the lead in the second quarter, 16 to 4. By half time out 7th player Miriam arrived and was able to slot into GS and saw our team take the significant win, final score 41 - 10.

Throughout the game our centre court worked really well together, causing disruption & numerous turn overs. The attack side was also working well with good driving onto the ball. Erin and Ella did an unbelievable job as shooters, adapting quickly to their new positions both were rotating the circle, getting the rebounds and not a bad conversion rate to match! Defence was solid closing down the circle with only 10 goals to the other team.

Steph (WA) took the player of the match which was well deserved.
