Wandsworth E v Demonettes - 33-19

With Demonettes at the top of the league and us propping up the table, it was always going to be tough!

But some strong all round performance with brand new players to the team on court got the Es a well deserved half score point.

Emma took to GK brilliantly in her first match against a quick and well gelled side. Her little boy was also a welcome mascot who's "go Wandsworth" chanting was appreciated by all on and off the court!

Everyone was punished if loose balls werent gathered in quickly as Demonettes were excellent at getting the ball down court.

But we toughened and tightened up as the game went on and produced some of the best, flowing play on court so far. Everyone put in 100% and was pleased with the scoreline.

With only 14 goals between us and the league leaders, it certainly gives a taste of good things to come.
