WNC E -v- Lifeline C 53 - 10 (by Kerry N)

An absolutely fantastic win for the E's, taking our winning streak to 4 in a row. Well done to centre Zoe on getting POM, however a particular mention to super shooter Erin who normally plays in defence.

We started off the first quarter 15-5, managing to convert many of the centre passes into goals. Some fantastic shooting from Vicky and Erin meant we were able to take an easy lead against Lifeline. We were however not going to rest on our laurels and thanks to some great defence in the second quarter from Lorna (from the C's) and Alice, Lifeline were only able to to get 1 goal in, be it in the last minute too!

Half time talk stressed the importance of getting our arms up on court, which helped with our defence in the second half. At the end of the 3rd quarter the score was 32-8, we set ourselves the target of getting to 50 by the end of game. Thanks to some suburb shooting from Erin and Vicky we managed to score a whopping 21 goals in the last quarter, ending the game 53-10!
