WNC 'D' -v- WNC 'E' - 31-35 (By Zoe L)

After recruiting lots of new members to the team, we went into the match against the D's with lots of new combinations to try out. The first quater began pretty evenly matched with each team scoring goal to goal. Unfortunately Fern fell over and later found out she had broken her arm! (get better soon!) The score at the end of the quater was 15-11 to the D's leaving us with a bit of work to do in the second quater.

After some position changes and fab shooting from vicky and gayle in the second quater we managed to close the gap a get ahead with a cheeky one goal score difference of 18-17.

We furthered this lead by another two goals in the third quater by keeping the team the same and putting in some decent defensive work by the centre court players and defence duo emma and sally. Score at the end of the quater was 24-27

In the final quater the game became a little tighter with a goal difference of one at one point but with a very determined E team we pulled away in the last few minutes to win the game 35-31! A fab win for us E's!

It was great game and everyone played really well.
