Wandsworth E vs. Omega B - 39-22 (by Hannah)

First Q goes down in history as one we wish to forget. A 5-5 draw & a performance that looked like we'd never played netball before.. A stern team talk & 2nd Q was much better. Helen & Steph were working the ball around the circle & sinking all their shots, Izzy was feeding the ball into the circle & providing support around the circle edge & Daisy was flying around centre court getting lots of interceptions. Won the Q at 20-10

Biased umpiring & extremely verbal omega supporters didn't put us off in the 3rd & 4th Qs. Erin, Kirsty & Catherine dominated in defence & Omega struggled to get the ball to their shooters. WNC pulled away to win 39-22

Good effort for the first game of the season & well done to Izzy getting POM (happy birthday!)
