For our second CNL game we came up against a strong United team. We came out fighting in the first quarter, with some great feeds into the circle by Jules and accurate shooting by Anna and Emma. With everyone putting in high intensity work and playing man on man defence we forced United to make errors. Unfortunately the umpires must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, as there were some very questionable calls made against us which enabled United to snag the lead at quarter time.

We had a tough second and third quarter. United were very physical. Despite this we were able to play some lovely passages of netball and keep our heads up. Nicki put in a massive workload in the midcourt which allowed the ball to flow quickly into attack. With Caiti working tirelessly in defence and Harri making critical intercepts the game felt a lot closer than the score line reflected.

Going into the last quarter we were down by 7 goals. After a motivational pep talk by Harri we came out with all guns blazing. We dug deep, believed in ourselves and backed each other up. With every player putting in 110 percent we were able to make the comeback of all comebacks! It was a very well played game by the B's with a spectacular last quarter effort. What a game girls!! #Bmazing

Special shout out to Andy. Although she didn't take the court as she was injured, she was instrumental on the sidelines with encouragement and support.
