Q1: We had a great start and it immediately felt like we were dominating the game. Andy and Ten were sinking shots, good team work between Jules, Zoe & Nicki in centre court + defence duo Dani & Josie were putting the pressure on. It was neck and neck for most of it and we finished the quarter one ahead at 8 - 7
Q2: Slight swap around in centre court with Georgie coming on as WA. The rain was getting heavier but we kept fighting. Warren were consistent too and nipped ahead of us by one 19 - 20
Q3: The third quarter we came out fighting. Anna came on as GS and Jules back into centre court. However their defence suddenly seemed to develop go-go gadget arms making it a struggle for us to get it into the circle and throwing us off our usual set play. Despite some amazing interceptions, Dani and Josie had their work cut out for them with Warren's GS being able to shoot & score from any distance/ position she happened to be in. They managed to stretch the gap in the score slightly pulling ahead to 24 - 29.
Q4: Zoe came back on into centre court and everyone went on a little soggy but pumped. Warren met us with confidence though and we unfortunately seemed to become a little too tentative in our play. Although we kept fighting they did end up beating us 31 - 44.
