Wandsworth B vs. Warren A: 58-30 (by Kiran)

On a cold but sunny Saturday, the B’s took on Warren A. We took control early on in the game. Great defence, work down the court and shooters converting the opportunities meant the first q ended 17-9.

A slippery surface and blinding sunshine gave rise to a few unforced errors but we kept control throughout the second quarter (31-14).

Going into the third quarter we concentrated on shorter passes to bring down the error count. Warren were reduced to 6 players during the quarter (their WD went down - unsure what happened, think it was an ankle/knee). With time called, it broke the flow but we continued to push. 44-24.

With a large lead going into the final quarter we wanted to push for a high goal difference. Ended the game 58-30.

POM went to Liv for another stellar performance in defence. Players’ player was a three way split between Liv, Georgie (awesome interceptions throughout the game!) and Anna (shooting was on fire!). Thanks to Becky W for playing with us.
