Wandsworth B vs. Hillcrest B: 46 - 42 (by Zoe)

Q1: 14-10
Q3: 38-32
Q4: 46-42

We arrived at Shirley to leaf covered courts so it was out with the brooms and off to work sweeping them clear! (Catt really excelled at this, one for the CV!)

It was a steady start to the match with some solid play bringing the ball down the court.
We smashed the second quarter, getting so many interceptions and then capitalising on them.

The third quarter saw Georgie pull out some fantastic football skills, booting a football back over to the guys on the other side of the fence. Incredible scenes. Not sure whether it was Georgie’s kick or the B team netball skills, but Hillcrest started feel the pressure in their D to which Claire and Catt took no prisoners and picked each and every one off and sent the ball straight back down to our shooters.

In the final quarter Hillcrest started to close the gap of the score, we made a few unforced errors giving them the opportunity to keep pulling back but everyone dug deep and we managed to hold on and take the win by 4 goals!

Top work from Ten who had an absolute stormer of a game and earned the well-deserved players player! There was a little bit of confusion over who they were awarding man of the match to but we think it was Georgie and Zoe! Big thanks to Claire for stepping in and playing for us this week! Great game ladies, same again next week!
