Wandsworth C vs. Karisma A: 25 - 37 (by Hannah)

We went into this game knowing that it was gonna be a tough game with Karisma being top of the league and in prem A last season. We started a little shaky letting Karisma get into our heads and turn over a few of our centres and take the lease in the 1st quarter. Score: 3 - 12

After a motivating team talk and arrival of some of our supporters the tempo was really switched up in the second quarter with some great attacking and movement in the D from Mel and Amy which rattled Karisma and helping us to pull back in the 2nd quarter. Score: 13 - 18

Feeling revitalised and motivated from the 2nd quarter we kept the tempo high in the 3rd quarter with some tight defence in from Emma, Harri and Hannah. But Karisma also upped the anti and brought it back in the 3rd quarter. Score: 19 - 29

We went into the final quarter with nothing to lose - tough and physical game but still kept our cool despite being behind. The ball was being brought up the court seamlessly by Becky, Anneka and Maddie. But disaster struck when Anneka went down on her ankle with just 5 mins left on the clock! All in all a tough but clean and fair game, and something we can bring next year! Final score: 25 - 37
