Wandsworth D vs. Alpha C: 30-50 (by Fi)

After meeting a triumphant B team on their way out from their match with Alpha, we were hopeful for our upcoming game. We had narrowly lost out to this team earlier in the season so knew we were going to have a tough match on our hands.

After losing the first quarter, we came back strong in the second quarter, drawing back to an even score, and then getting one goal ahead. Unfortunately, the score line doesn’t do much to reflect some of the excellent play from the Ds both individually and as a team.

Special shout outs go to Anna (player’s playa) who was snatching interceptions left, right and centre from anyone who was foolish enough to try a pocket pass and Bridget (POM) who channelled her inner Duracell bunny, whizzing round the court at lightning speed.
