Wandsworth D vs Wandsworth C: 34 - 53 (by Andy)

We started the match confident and ready to take on the Cs with a full squad of 14 (yes, we have 14ppl in our squad).

A nervous start from both teams saw the Cs eventually pull away and settle into their game early, ending the quarter 3-16 (13-16) with the 10 goal lead.

Squad remained the same for the second quarter which was definitely our best, with some strong feeds into the circle, accurate shooting and great defensive pressure. We won the quarter and took the score to 15-26 (25-26).

A full changeover at halftime with a fresh seven on. A quarter to forget for the Ds as the Cs put their foot down and ramped up their lead to 19-40 (29-40).

We managed to claw back the deficit in the last quarter but ‘twas too little too late unfortunately. The game ended 24-53 (34-53). Some nice passages of play throughout the game but plenty of things to work on at training.
