We knew that this game was going to be tough against top-of-the-league team Roundwood D but we were ready for it!

Q1 - Roundwood D started strongly and secured some great turn overs in defence, and their shooters hardly missed a shot in the first half. We were giving them a bit too much space in the D, but we capitalised on any missed shots by grabbing the rebounds and getting the ball quickly up the court to Helen K and Steph who sank some absolute beauties! Q1 finished 13-11 to us.

Q2 - This quarter we really kept the pressure on in defence, with Helen P and Leanne sticking on their shooters like glue! With no-where to go, they started making mistakes - and Ellie K at WD and Chloe at C were able to pick up some fantastic interceptions. Helen K and Steph were on fire this quarter and we stormed ahead 29-15!

Q3 - This quarter we saw lots of changes being made by Roundwood which gave us confidence that we were on top. They really upped their aggression but we stayed calm and made very few errors. We kept the defensive pressure on all the way down the court to assert our lead even further to 39-22 by the end of Q3.

Q4 - This quarter we fought hard and had some fantastic moments of play and interceptions all the way down the court. Roundwood D were getting really frustrated which resulted in their GK being pulled aside for a talking-to! Nothing could put Helen K and Steph off their shots though and we finished the game 53-28.

Tl;dr
- We won!
- We played really bloody well!
- We made very few unforced errors
- Helen 'goal machine' Kelly got POTM and Steph got player's player for some cracking interceptions and long-bombs at GA!
