Q1
Very cold start for the E’s this morning, a team of just 7 and a very inconveniently placed sun! We didn’t let it get us down and came out for a good start, unfortunately dropping a few goals against Lifeline who were very strong in both attack and defence.

Q2
Lifeline switched up their attack in the second quarter and really started to give us a run for our money, we fought well in defence the whole way down the court with fab defending coming from Steph and Becky in attack. Sadly we ended the half a few goals down again, despite Bec’s high energy encouragement, which didn’t drop through the whole game.

Q3
We switched up our defence in this quarter with Leanne and Helen P working really well in the circle, however the cold started to get to us all resulting in a few dropped balls and errors, leading us to finish the quarter 10 goals down.

Q4
We pulled it back slightly in the last quarter with everyone working so hard for the last push, sadly despite best efforts we didn’t manage to pull a win out of the bag this time around. Shout out to Helen K and Steph for sinking some great shots against a very pushy defence and excellent work by all the attack. We’ll get them next time girls!!
