Issues with getting the post into the ground delayed the start to the game. The first 10 mins went well but we got pulled up for footwork and distance in the later part of the Q, which resulted in their GS getting her hands on the ball more and with a high conversion rate, this put us on the back foot at the end of the first quarter.
16 -17
After a regroup and a move around in attack we came back fighting. Working the ball around the D and avoiding over the head balls helped. Tess (GD) and Becky (C) worked hard to keep GA out of the D whilst Ruth (GK) put pressure on the GS stopping her from being free to receive the ball.

A few calls on footwork put pressure on us to slow down the game. A few early balls that got to the GS allowed her to convert into goals, but Bec (WD) re worked her approach to defence centre passes, pushing up/ wall made their GS run out a few times which allowed us to block her out of the circle, at one point neither their GS or GA were able to get into the D

CMO started to tire and Wandsworth took full advantage. With some strong passes around the D and good interceptions off their centre pass (with GD and GK working well together to stop their GS from getting the ball), we were able to intercept some passes and get the ball back down our end.
Sadly the game ended early due to their C taking a bad fall.
