After a morning of rain we turned up to a slightly slippy court ready to play Redhill C. We knew this was a must win game as Redhill C were sitting one below us in the league table!

We got off to a great start in the first quarter with a slightly different team line up to usual. Ellie K seamlessly moved from her usual centre court positions into shooting with Helen K and did a great job. We were up 17 - 8 after the first quarter.

We managed to increase our lead in the second quarter to 26 - 14 with the team getting some interceptions and driving forward into spaces. Although we won this quarter, we were making some unforced errors, being called up for contact and distance in particular.

During half time we switched the team up a bit and could quite not keep up in the third quarter, with Redhill maintaining possession of their centres and also turning around a few of ours. They gained momentum as the quarter went on and it finished at a closer score of 33 - 29.

We came onto the last quarter with the aim of taking our time to slow the play down and reduce the unforced errors. We managed to maintain our lead and finished the game with a score of 40 - 35, staying ahead of Redhill in the league!
