A bit of a painful wake up for the 9.30 start not to mention December weather kicking in in full force! Eventually everyone found the primary school in the middle of nowhere but there were definitely some sleepy heads during our warm up. It didn’t impact our play as we made a strong start going out with a strong attack from the get-go.

32-16
A bit of a pattern building with another half and half score, we were determined to keep MPs away from the halfway mark and stepped it up through some steady insane shooting from Steph and Helen. Due to the tragic court surface we had an injury halfway through and had to mix it up!

40-28
Our weakest quarter yet as they crept up and over the halfway mark. MPs mixed up their defence with a particularly strong goal keeper and they started to read our play a little more. Rachel and Becky must have tucked into the wine gum refreshments at half time though as they were getting more tips than magic mike in hen do season!

57-30
Although they slipped into half way territory we were chuffed with the win!! Rachel stormed players player with her smashing interceptions and Tess was voted POM - both well deserved! A great morning topped off with some picnic sandwiches on offer - Ellie couldn’t help herself!
