After a great training session we were all feeling pumped for a sunny game against Lifeline B. We had a full squad so were ready to try some different variations on court. We put the zoning training into practice straight away which was working and we managed to turn over a lot of balls, great shooting from Emma and Selina and we ended the first quarter 10-5

After a great team talk from Steph and a mix up in defence we were back on court focusing on working the ball into the D and tightening up on our unforced errors. Rach and Leanne got some great tips and interceptions and we ended the quarter 24-9 (with a lot less errors!!)

We went into the third quarter determined to not let Lifeline B get half our score! Due to a little tumble I didn't actually pay much attention to what went on but the result suggests we played bloody marvellously!! (34-13)

We kept the pressure on .. Evie even received a few stern words from the umpire (watch that contact matey!!!) and ended the game 47-20!

Big shout out to Steph who continues to come and support/coach and cheer us on even with an injury!! And to Selina and Evie well deserved POM and PP’s!
